Morecambe Division Guide Association held there 5 a-side Football competition in which the winner goes through to the County final in July. |

The 5 a - side tournement was held at Torrisholme C. P. School last Monday. The guides whose ages ranged from 11 to 14 years old gave some very exciting and nail biting football, which was enjoyed by both parents (mums & dads) and Leaders. |

Ten teams from the Heysham, Morecambe, Slyne-with-Hest, Warton and Silverdale areas, started the evening but after some very good football, the final was between 1st Heysham and 1st Slyne - with - Hest. Slyne finally won the match 2 to 1. We wish them good luck in the next round!! |

Well done also to 2nd Carnforth Guides who drew 2-2 in the final of the 'Wooden Spoon' Playoff's. It was a credit to watch ALL the girls that took part. |
